Summary: Horrible
Comment: Horrible, Utterly Horrible, The authors and editors have no comprehension of writing a grammatically correct sentence. Punctuations are non-existent and for anyone who enjoys reading, this is pure torture of the mind. There is no flow in the course of the material within each section. Its as smooth as a jagged rock when it moves from one topic to another within any given section of the book. It is not worth the money to buy. Other review books are out there that is more comprehensible to any person that can read.

Comment: I used this book to study, and passed the CPA exam with an 89. It is thorough and should contain almost everything you need. For a few of the topics I had difficulty with, I had to go back to my college notes/textbooks for clarification. Not sure if this was a shortcoming of the book or me :)

It had plenty of questions, good explanation of the answers, and many extended problems to help prepare for the test. I've seen other people complain of constant errors. I noticed a few, but nothing to prevent me from buying other Wiley books in the future (I just bought the REG book).

Summary: Good, comprehensive study material
Comment: Regardless of which CPA product you use to study, you have to be prepared to work hard. This book offers a lot of good study material. It is very comprehensive, provides some good examples, and definitely served its purpose as I passed the Regulation exam on the first try. I didn't use any additional material for this exam. When I took BEC, I used the Kaplan prep material including an audio CD and some flashcards, and I was more impressed with the Wiley material. Kaplan wasn't as comprehensive and it was very repetitive. However, I did pass both exams. I would recommend this book.

Comment: I passed all 4 parts of exam using Wiley books and Wiley software. I didn't take any review courses and any other material. I would definitely recommend this book. It was sufficient to pass the exam even though I'm a foreigner and earned accounting degree in my home country. I'm not giving 5 stars only because of occasional errors.

Comment: I am currently studying for the cpa exam and wanted a book that would aid in my study. This book was NOT helpful to me at all. It was very boring, dull, and hard to read. I would love to have seen more examples in the description part of the some of the lessons/topics for discussion, however that was not the case. Total Disappointment. If you're looking for a book to review the principles and quiz yourself on the lesson previously studied. This is not it.
